- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 4 cups cranberries
- Begin by bringing the water and sugar to a boil in a medium sized sauce pot. Stir this mixture every so often to help dissolve the sugar.
- Once the water and sugar come to a boil, add the cranberries and bring back up to a boil. Continue to cook on medium heat until the cranberries have burst.
- Once the cranberries have burst, lower the heat to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes.
- Let this mixture cool completely before transferring to a dish to cool.
- Place the cranberry sauce in the fridge until it is time to serve. Enjoy!
