Your questions, our answers
What’s the difference between a baketivity box and a bake-a-camp box?
A Baketivity box is a great way to whip up something sweet while having fun and learning. Your Bake-a-Camp box is a skill-building box containing four individual baking boxes for a month. It’s a virtual summer camp that focuses on teaching and experimenting with the building blocks of baking.
Do I need to sign up for bake-a-camp if I already have a baketivity subscription?
Bake-a-Camp features different recipes and learning materials than the other Baketivity boxes. If your family has multiple bakers-in-trainings—-or children with different kitchen skill levels—-getting a Bake-a-Camp and Baketivity box gives everyone the chance to lick the bowl clean.
What’s in my bake-a-camp box?
Each box contains 4 weekly kits to take you through the month. Like our regular Baketivity boxes, each Bake-a-Camp box includes: Illustrated & Easy-to-Read Instructions Color-Coded, Pre-Measured (dry) Ingredients 4 Tasty and Unique Recipes Educational booklets for each week
Besides for learning baking skills, what will i gain from bake-a-camp?
Bake-a-Camp 2022 is a trip around the world, exploring different cultures and their traditional baked goods. It’s a packed program with live Zoom classes, fun surprises and more.
Do I have to stick to the bake-a-camp’s schedule?
No, you don’t have to stick to the Bake-a-Camp schedule. However, in order to experience this program to the fullest, you’ll want to wait for updates when the weekly live classes will be, so you can bake and enjoy together.
Is there just 1 bake-a-camp box?
Bake-a-Camp 2022 has an exciting bonus this year! There are 2 Bake-a-Camp boxes available, each one with 4 kits to take you through the month. That means that your July and August can be filled with baking delicious treats, learning new skills and gaining knowledge!
Can I join bake-a-camp if the month has already started?
Of course! You can always watch the recorded videos of the classes you already missed, and join us for the live Zoom classes that we haven’t had yet.
Can I buy a box for both months of bake-a-camp?
Of course! You can join for one month, or, even better, for 2 months!
Will the july bake-a-camp box and the august bake-a-camp box be similar?
Our 2 Bake-a-Camp boxes will be completely different and unique. Each one will have fresh and fun content each month.
Where can I find the videos of the classes that i missed?
Bake-a-Campers will receive a link to the video page. In addition, Bake-a-Campers will be able to scan a QR code to get access to the videos and materials.
For what ages is bake-a-camp intended for?
The recommended age for Bake-a-Campers is between 5-14. Please note that younger-aged children may need assistance with some steps.
Will the baker be able to help my child if they have a question?
Sure! Daniella, our baker, will be able to answer questions by the live baking class, and on our private Facebook group for our campers. That way your child can do it right!
