- 1 ¾ cups light brown sugar
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. Vanilla extract
- 3 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ tsp. Baking soda
- ½ tsp. Baking powder
- Dash of salt
- 1 ½ cups chocolate candy eggs, crushed
- 2-3 Tbsp. festive colored sprinkles
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and lightly grease and line a 9” x 13” pan with parchment paper. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, mix together the melted butter and brown sugar using a whisk or a silicone spatula.
- Add in the eggs and vanilla extract. Continue to mix until evenly combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt.
- Add the dry ingredients into the wet and use a silicone spatula to mix until just combined.
- In a large ziplock bag, place the candy eggs. Seal the bag shut then use a mallet or rolling pin to crush the candies into small pieces.
- Add the crushed candy eggs to the blondies mixture, along with the festive sprinkles. Fold in these two ingredients until they are evenly distributed.
- Transfer the dough into the prepared baking pan and spread it out evenly.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown all over and the center does not jiggle.
- Allow the blondies to cool completely in the pan.
- Remove the blondies from the pan once they’re cooled and use an egg shaped cookie cutter to cut out as many as you can. You can also just cut them into squares/ rectangles if you do not have a cookie cutter.
- Enjoy!
