How to Make DIY Stress Balls for Students

Whether kids are bummed about the end of summer or anxious about going back to school, this DIY stress ball can be a great addition to their school supplies!

These DIY stress balls are super easy to make and perfect for fidgeting with at home or on the first day of school.

You’ll Need

2 balloons
Scissors
Flour
Measuring cup
Plastic wrap
Glue (optional)
Markers (optional)

Directions

Step 1: Snip the long neck part off of both balloons. Step 2: Place ½ cup of flour in plastic wrap and wrap tightly, twisting the plastic wrap to make sure the flour is secured inside of it. Step 3: Squish the wrapped flour into one of the balloons. Step 4: Stretch the second balloon over the opening of the first balloon to seal it and create a closed stress ball. Step 5: For extra sealing, add a tiny bit of glue around the edges of the second balloon hole to keep it tightly in place when you squeeze and squish your DIY stress ball. Step 6: If you’d like, you can add a pattern, smiley face, or other design to the outside of your stress ball with markers. Ta-da! Your stress ball is ready for the first day of school or whenever you need it.
