- 1 3/4 cups flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. pumpkin spice
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 can pmupkin puree
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips
- Preheat the oven to 350° F. and grease a loaf pan with non stick spray. Set aside.
- In a medium sized mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, pumpkin spice, nutmeg and salt. Continue to whisk until these ingredients are fully combined. Set aside.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the pumpkin puree, sugar, oil and eggs. Once these ingredients are nicely combined, add the dry ingredients to the wet.
- Use your whisk to combine the batter evenly while using a silicone spatula to scrape the sides of the bowl as you go.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and use the silicone spatula to evenly smooth out the top.
- Sprinkle on the chocolate chips. You can use milk chocolate, dark chocolate, semi-sweet, whatever you prefer!
- Bake the loaf for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Let the loaf cool for about 45 minutes before slicing.
