- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup evaporated milk
- 4 Tbsp. unsalted butter
- 1 1/2 cups mini marshmallows
- 1 cup milk chocolate chips
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 3/4 cup M&M's
- Grease a 9-inch square baking pan and line with parchment paper then set aside.
- In a small saucepan combine the sugar, evaporated milk and butter over medium heat. Bring this mixture to a rapid simmer while stirring constantly.
- Just before the mixture reaches a full boil remove from heat and stir in the marshmallows, chocolate chips, salt and vanilla. Stir for 1-2 minutes until everything is smooth and nicely combined.
- Pour this mixture into the prepared baking pan then top with the M&M's (or candy of your choice).
- Transfer the pan into the refrigerator and let it cool and set for about 2 hours or until firm.
- Cut the fudge into your desired size and serve! Enjoy!
- Not a fan of milk chocolate? Try replacing this recipe with white, dark, semi-sweet or whichever kind of chocolate you prefer. When replacing for a different chocolate, simply use the same amount that the original recipe calls for.
- If you wanted the best of both worlds, try swirling a mix of milk and white chocolate around in the pan for a marveled looking fudge. Not only does this look amazing but it appeals to every chocolate lover out there!
- If you like nuts in your fudge add about 1/2 cup into the mixture after the marshmallows and chocolate chips have been stirred and the mixture is smooth.
- If you have any silicone molds at home, pour in the fudge mixture to create fun shapes and bring the fudge to life!
