If Halloween has to be all about candy, why not use candy to inspire a little bit of healthy fun! Break out the trick-or-treating bags and get ready to move.
You’ll Need
- Halloween candy
- Lots of energy!
Instructions
Once you get home from trick-or-treating and before the kids dig into their bags, have them write a list of the kinds of candy they think they got like “Reese’s” and “Kit Kats.” Next to each type of candy, have kids write down an exercise such as “jumping jacks” or “push-ups.” Here is a sample list to use or inspire your own:- Reese’s – Jumping Jacks
- Kit Kats – Push-ups
- Skittles – Frog Squats
- Snickers - Lunges
- M&Ms – Toe Touches
- Pretzels – High Knees
- Jolly Ranchers – Squat Jumps
- Lollipop – Sit-ups
