Ultimate Family Winter Freeze Tag

To play Ultimate Freeze Tag, you’ll need:
  • Snowballs (real if possible)
  • Winter coats and gloves (optional but suggested)
  • Space to run
  • At least 3 players

First, select someone to be the tagger.

This person gets 5 minutes to make as many snowballs as they can. Other players can help make the snowballs too, but remember they will be used against you in a few minutes!

Then, it’s time to run!

Other players scramble to get away from the tagger. The tagger runs after them and throws snowballs at them. When someone gets hit with a snowball, they freeze in place! Brr!

Next, "Does someone need a hug?"

For someone to get unfrozen, they need a warm hug from another player. The hug has to last at least a second. Be careful you don’t get hit by another snowball from the tagger, or you’ll be frozen in your hug until the game ends! No one can unfreeze people frozen together in a hug.

When there is snow more snowballs.

The game goes until the tagger runs out of snowballs or everyone is frozen!
