What are your summer plans? That’s the $64 million dollar question. Between you and me, the answer is what should be worth $64 million dollars. Everyone’s looking for things to do with their kids this summer. It’s gotta be something interesting that will banish the summer boredom to a corner from where it won’t emerge. But the question is: does it exist? Does that perfect thing that *entertains the kids *pleases the parents *gladdens the grandparents and *excites the friends EXIST? And if it does, will it please make itself be known? Well, well, well, my friends. I’d like you to meet your new best friend. (Drumroll!)

The Perfect Summer Activity For Kids
Yes, perfect does exist, and it’s easier to get than ever! This is the best summer idea for kids, because it’s entertaining, interesting and teaches them new skills too! The best part is that it satisfies the palate too :) This summer, it won’t just be about “get the kids off my back”, but it will be one where they’ll walk out having completed a summer project from start to finish.
Baketivity’s virtual camp is a place where your child will learn, have fun, make new friends, and bake. They’ll join a tight network of kids that are looking to enhance their baking skills while having a good time. Aside from the baking part, which we’ll get into soon, there are so many additional aspects to this summer camp.
1. Bake-a-Camp will be taking a journey through the world. We’ll explore fascinating countries and take a deep dive into their lives and learn new things from them. This is your chance to teach your kids about the world around us, especially because travel is hard right now.
Destinations include: Sweden, Argentina, Australia, Mexico and more.
2. All campers will receive access to a daily schedule, which will guide them where to learn new things about each place we visit. This interactive schedule will keep them busy all day, every day. It will include online language games, interesting videos and so much more. (We can’t give everything out, you know…)
By the time the summer will be over, you won’t be needing to search for fun summer activities for kids, because you’ll know that you hit on it. Just be sure to spread the word!
Learn How To Bake
Now I know that many of you wanted to hear about this part. So many questions, so many answers- let’s get started.
By signing up to this baking camp for kids, your child will learn new and advanced baking skills which will propel them to a whole new level of baking. They’ll learn tips they never knew, familiarize themselves with new utensils they’ve never used, and they’ll create stunning confections which they never dreamed they'd make. This, in turn, will inspire confidence in themselves and in their capabilities. There’s nothing like a finished product to show “I’ve got this”.
Our baking camp will give your child the tools they need in order to achieve their goal. That feeling of accomplishment and empowerment will last a longer longer than their confections will, and just may be the start of a baking journey that is filled with confidence and power.
This baking course will familiarize your child with international cuisine, by bringing the outside world into their kitchen. They’ll create pastries that stem from all over the world while learning its history and other facts about it.
They’ll be amazed to learn that some of the very foods that they eat daily, stem from different countries. Even more, they’ll see the original place it was made, and how the food evolved as it was taken to different countries, and experimented by different people. Your child will come out having learned about the basic things in their life, in an interesting way.
Confections include: French eclairs, Australian Fairy Bread Cake, Argentinian Dulce de Leche bars and more.
The Baketivity Virtual Summer Camp
Now that we’ve ran through some parts of our virtual summer program, let’s see what else is in store for your child with our kids baking summer camp.
- All of our baking classes will take place LIVE on Zoom, so your child will be able to keep up with the baking classes, and follow real-time instructions, in order to ensure a perfect product. Worried that your child won’t make it to a class? There’s no need to, because every class will be available to rewatch afterwards, in case they missed it, or if they’d like to bake a treat on their own after the summer. In addition, if your child joins the program a little late, they’ll also get access to those videos, like that they won’t feel like they missed out on anything.
- Now we all know that the summer is 2 months long. Many of you were worried how your child will be kept entertained through both halves? The good news is that we’ve extended our program so that it can last 2 months! That’s 2 months of peace and entertainment for you! Our summer camp will be having a July track and an August track. You can either buy just the July track or just the August track, OR you can buy both! Buying both = buying more time for yourself! The desserts from each month are totally different and unique, so you don’t have to worry about your child redoing anything, or not learning anything new.
- Our virtual camp will include so many surprises for your child, that they’ll always be something to look forward to. This will include surprise Zoom meet-ups, where the kids will get to know each other better, and have a grand time. It’ll be a fun experience for them to meet kids from all over the country, and acquaint themselves with all different types of children.
- Another great part of our virtual summer camp is that the campers will have access to our baker, and they’ll be able to ask all of their baking questions and receive the answers they’ve been waiting for. Madison will be able to answer their questions while they’re baking together on Zoom, or on our private Facebook page.
- This is totally the best part! Every camper that successfully completes a certain amount of challenges (when it comes to baking their confections) will be entered into a FREE raffle. The winner will receive a ticket to any of the Bake-a-Camp destinations! That means that they'll be able to explore the very countries and confections they learned about, and see it in real life!
